Vassiliki is situated on the southern shore of the beautiful and exclusive island of Lefkada. For Watersports

Vassiliki is our Specialist Windsurf Centre – catering for all levels. We also cater for Beginner to Intermediate Dinghy Sailors. Advanced & Expert Sailors are catered for in Vass’ (not for lessons). As one of Europe’s finest active sports resorts and a very famous windsurfing and dinghy sailing destination with reliable winds and conditions to suit all levels. Our hotel is stocked with the latest 2014 windsurf kit, (Starboard, Tushingham), Paddleboards, kayaks and sailing dinghies from Laser and RS. We offer free windsurf and sailing tuition using our own in-house RYA instructors. You can go home with some new-found skills or a new RYA certificate of qualification, and the best bit is that it’s all included with our holidays!

Other Activities

Vass is unique in that it is also surrounded by beautiful beaches, stunning coastal walks, hills, mountains, cultural sites and olive groves which provide some of the best walking and mountain biking in Greece. Boat trips, Island hopping to Cephalonia, wine tours, scooter rental are all part of the buzz!

Resort

The resort centre is situated just 10 minutes walk along the beach from our hotel; a pretty harbour side village which has a traditional and olde-world feel to it, lots of shopping and friendly bars or colourful Tavernas which buzz with life until late in the evening.

Eating out

The Greeks are known for their hospitality. Eating out in the local Taverna’s is a super experience and by far the most popular option; simply because the food is so good, very inexpensive and the welcome is so warm. Expect all kinds of local and international favourites, from Moussaka to Pizza / Pasta, and fresh fish to rump steaks. Most meals are served with fries or fresh Greek salads, which are a speciality.

Night life

Vass really comes alive at night, but fear not – our Hotel is situated far enough away from the busy strip to be completely free from noise! Many will prefer just to relax and enjoy the comforts of our Club hotel and some of the quieter bars nearby, but for those that like a party, there is always one to be had!
