The IFCA Slalom Worlds for women, and Europeans for the men came to a close recently in the Bay of Roses, Spain.
A week of hard fought competition took place amongst the women, Karin Jaggi stood firm throughout the week, taking four out of seven race wins and not slipping below third in any race. Karin, was followed by Delphin Cousin in second and Cagla Kubat in third.
Within the men’s racing, four full rounds were managed with Matteo Iachino taking the win, with Arnon Dagan in second and Bora Kozanoglu in third. Though some of the top names were absent, this did not make the racing any easier, and Matteo put in an exceptional performance to win above Arnon.
