Martyn Ogier’s speed season

Ensuring seamless progression from the foundations laid on the 2009 speed tour, 2010 once again sees Martyn Ogier competing with boards from Starboard, sails from Hot Sails Maui and fins from C3. After an eleven year absence from speedsailing, 2009 proved to be a tough re-introduction to the speed tour but results kept improving through the year as the equipment was fine tuned to deliver the best results. “I learned what was needed to get the best out of my boards and sails culminating in a 4th pro fleet placing at my last contest in Weymouth” says Ogier.

“Everything has been stepped up for 2010: harder training, new Starboard boards, new Hot Sails GPS sails and new C3 fins. The gear has already proven itself on numerous outings this winter and I’m looking forward to stepping up to the next level on the Speed Tour.”

Martyn is scheduled to compete at events in France, Fuerteventura, Karpathos, Sweden and Britain combined with the training trips over to West Kirby when conditions look favourable.
