It’s time to batten down the hatches, or maybe grab your windsurf board, yet again as a massive storm is forecast to hit Europe this weekend.
Whilst this looks a lot like Hercules, the storms are in fact fairly different. Storm Brigid, as it has been called, is scheduled to hit the UK with full force today (Friday 31st January) and will bring yet more rain, strong winds and destructive waves along the coasts, as well as, potentially, snow.
Our advice continues, as with Hercules, only windsurf if you feel it is safe to. These conditions could be extreme, not only with wind and waves, but plummeting temperatures too. Whilst we all love a good stormy windsurf session, please remember that safety is paramount and that the weather conditions can, and will, change at any moment.
If you do chose to take on the storm make sure a friend or family member is close by, one so they can watch out for you, two so that they can capture the action!
