SURF SALES ANNOUNCE THEIR RETURN
TO THE WORLD OF WINDSURFING
Surf Sales – the
It was Graeme Fuller, Surf Sales founder and MD who helped introduce windsurfing to the country back in 1978 with his collaboration with Mistral in the days when Robby Naish ruled at the tender age of 13!
Surf Sales’ partnership with the brand lasted over two decades. It has taken nearly another decade for a brand to emerge that has relit that fire.
Exocet, the brainchild of French world cup star Patrice Belbeoch, has been simmering away for a number of years, but the line-up for this season was simply too great a temptation to ignore.
Exocet’s new range is peppered with revolutionary ideas that should breathe some much needed new life into windsurfing and allow us all, at whatever level we are at, to take our skills and desires to the next level.
Whether it be the test winning U-Surf range that makes simple work of ripping any type of wave to pieces from 8-foot, clean, cross-offshore perfection to cross-on 4-foot, windy-as-hell storm surf, or the new Kona Surf boards that are set to make things fun again for newcomers and families, Exocet has something for everyone.
The Kona range really is one of the most exciting things to happen in the world of windsurfing for some time. Back to simplicity and fun are the key aims with these boards. Getting on the water in any given condition is what it’s all about – freestyle, one design racing in any wind, and sub planing wind wave riding is all made possible. Check out the tandem option on the Mahola – the thing really flies with two people on board, and it rails upwind. If you feel brave enough get it out in the surf with small sails it’ll bring another element to your sailing – that’s for sure!
The brand is already turning heads with established sailors, kitesurfers who are now looking for a new challenge, and those that are just looking for something to get them in the water. Exocet has it all. Check out their glossy website at:
