We are devastated to announce the passing of Italian racing superstar, Alberto Menegatti. At just 29 Menegatti was a force to be reckoned with on the PWA and he will be sadly missed.

The following has been posted on our sister site Boardseeker, regarding Menegatti’s passing:

“It is with a heavy, and shocked, heart that we bring this sad news to you. Still very little information available but Boardseeker is aware that Menegatti was found in his room in Tenerife unconscious, he was very quickly pronounced dead and a full autopsy will be taking place sometime tomorrow (24th February). Meanwhile we plan to bring all the latest information on this sudden and tragic event right here on Boardseeker.”
