We are sad to announce that 55 year old Andrea de Cesaris, the ex-formula 1 Champion and very passionate windsurfer, died on the afternoon of the 5th of October in a motorbike accident in Rome.
His friends describe Andrea as passionate, fearless, very determined and with a specific love to test new gear and solutions and developments in the gear. His experience in R&D gained during his Formula 1 period made him very careful about specifications, shapes etc, and he has been one the contributor in developing and shaping the wave boards of NoveNove Custom Boards.
In the water he was not unnoticed because of his fearless entries in the most radical section of big waves. He will be very much missed by his family, friends (especially NoveNove family and Ezzy) and the windsurfing community.
