RS:X European Championships: Final Day

Portugal prepares for final day of racing…

Madeira Island has played host to the European RS:X fleets for the past week, blessing them with wind. Today sees the final day of RS:X competition take place, with just the medal races to go.

Currently leading the Men’s Fleet is Polish sailor Przemyslaw Miarczynski who is tied on points with Greek Byron Kokkalanis, meaning that it really is all to pay for going into the final races. Full men’s results to this point are available HERE.

In the ladies’ fleet, after 11 races it is Spanish speedster Marina Alabau ahead by a good distance.
