UK freestyler Adam Sims has been focusing on the international scene for the most part of this year with most of his success in the European Freestyle Pro Tour, where Sims finished 10th overall this year.
However, his greatest result came in the tow-in where he finished an impromptu tow-in best trick contest in first place ahead of the likes of Steven Van Broeckhoven, Julien Mas and Adrien Bosson at the final EFPT stop this year.
The tow-in utilised the local police boat which launched the riders into much bigger moves off the wake of the boat. Sims who has began to make an impression in tow-in for trying slightly alternative moves, launched into a funnell before the boat wake reached him then perfectly timed the bounce of a second, much higher, air funnell to impress the judges, which were compromised of EFPT judges and rider judges like Dieter van der Eyken. They were impressed by his precision timing and height of the second move. Sims also landed moves like double spocks, forward loops and more during the event.
