Coming up in May (when the water is warm and hopefully the breeze is up) Stithians Lake stages its bi-annual Windsurf Rally. A bargain three-day weekend – only £120 for adults and £105 for children (or if you’re a member of SWLT or RYA, just £100 per adult and £80 per child). That works out at just £33 per day for an adult RYA member – and this includes camping for 2 nights and a bumper BBQ plus a free T-shirt (if you book 4 weeks in advance!). Tuition is for all levels from beginner to advanced so if you’re getting on a board for the first time or want to nail your spocks, flakas or grubbies, don’t wait to book your place on the Rally!!

There will also be the latest Tushingham and Starboard kit to try over the weekend so it’s a great time to test a board or sail before you buy one.
