The SWA season is kicking off big time! Coming up very soon the students have a couple of incredible events, that are almost all sold out!

First up there is BRuWE Wet Dreams, which takes place this weekend and you can check out all the event details right here.

After that there is a truly epic wave event – the PlymEx UV Rave on the weekend of the 5th December! This will take place at which ever beach in and around Cornwall that is producing the best of conditions. Scroll down for full event details and click here for more from the SWA.

Sit down, take a deep breath and prepare yourselves to be regaled with the tale of a weekend of epic proportions: Plym-Exe 2014!

That’s right, on the weekend of the 5th-7th of December the final SWA event of 2014 comes to the shores of the South West it’s shaping up to be a biggun! Situated among some of the best wave sailing locations in the UK, Plymouth is the launch pad for this magnificent happening.

The lovely ladies and gents of Plymouth Windriders will be acting as your hosts for the weekend, and together with help from Exeter Windriders, are providing you with 2 nights of sensational parties and competition based wave-sailing (with freesailing option) as well as beginner lessons running alongside all of this… How could you not come?!

On the water:

– Two days of wave sailing at one of a number of possible locations to give you the best possible conditions. Whether you’re looking to compete for some of the awesome prizes on offer, or you want to give wave sailing a go for the first time, this is the event for you. Jim and PURA VIDA will be on hand with safety cover and general great chat!

– For beginners, we’re putting on lessons in Plymouth, so even if you’ve never been out on the water… we’ve got you covered.

Shoreside:

– Once you’re all settled in with your hosts on the Friday, we’ll be heading out for a hefty amount of inter-club bonding, windsurf chat and general bad behaviour.

– The Saturday night is the theme party and this year we’re going back to basics with a good ol’ UV rave party. We want to see your brightest colours, most retro-raver outfits and dance moves worthy of getting all this flair noticed… If you’re not head to toe fluorescent lycra and headbands, you’re doing it wrong!

The low low price of £22 gets you wave sailing / beginner tuition, 2 nights accommodation, 2 big nights out, 2 breakfast, pizza dinner and a weekend to round of the year’s windsurfing in spectacular fashion!
