Beach Break Live, the student festival, has been a massive success for the last couple of years, mainly of course because the SWA have been involved. Putting on windsurfing coaching, demos, competition and general good times Beach Break Live is an unmissable event on 20th-24th June for any student windsurfer and the next batch of (cheap!) early bird tickets are on sale on the 15th of January.
“Thats right. Beach Break Live is an award winning boutique beach side bonanza of magic, mischief and memories.
The SWA are going to be joining the 20,000 unified revellers in the ultimate pastures of pleasure….miles of sandy beach, epic woodland and supersonic sound systems and celebrate the start of summer with the 4-day beach party like no other, combining a killer line up and frivolous fun with an infamous vibe.
As well as some of the biggest and best live acts in the world, BBL also plays host to the student extreme games. Student snow sports, wakeboarding, kitesurfing are all present and the SWA will be there showing them all how it’s done properly, with racing and freestyle competitions taking centre stage.
This year at BBL the SWA will be laying on tuition for beginners/intermediates too, so make sure you make you way down to the beach and spread the word amongst other Unis to spread the windsurf love.
