The Magheroarty Classic took place this weekend, on the North West coast of Ireland. The organisers announce the winners and give thanks to all those that made the event possible:
“We would like to thank everyone who came to compete and support Magheroarty Classic. Congratulations to Timo Mullen for taking 1st place, Rob Jones for 2nd and Alex Dugan 3rd in Gold Fleet. Unfortunately we could not finish Silver Fleet therefore we have joint 1st place between Tom Firth and Duncan Knox and joined 3rd place between six sailors Pawel Bielinski, David Minton, David Murray, Fin Mellon, Hubert Bielinski and Peter Corrigan.
“We would like to take this opportunity and thank our Judges: Nathan Regan (Head Judge), James Mulligan, James Lang, William Kelly, John Boyce and Gavin Redmond. Due to their outstanding commitment we were able to run this event and even run simultaneous Silver and Gold fleets. Fair play to you lads!
“We would like to thank our outstanding crew for their work and patience Brendan Hone, Pawel Kaminski, Slawomir Bujak, Karolina Bujak, Iwona Bielinska, Rafal Sliwczynski, Iwona Ziolkowska, Jakub Wilczak, Til Frohlich and his Bold Puppy video crew, Chris Dolinny and Marta Dolinny for photos, boat crew, music band and everyone who helped us in putting this event together.
