DONORS REQUIRED BY BRISTOL UNIVERSITY WINDSURF CLUB
This academic year, Bristol University Windsurf Club has received a large
number of new members due to its interesting design conceptualisations on
its fresher’s fair stall and the pleasant manner and stunning good looks of
the Committee. The problem with these otherwise pleasing facts is that the
club is suffering from a dire lack of decent quality kit (i.e. anything made
after 1978) with which to propel these new members (many of which are
budding harness-and-footstrappers) to new levels of race winning competence.
New early planing boards, winter wetsuits and a decent sail range are
required if we are to achieve the ultimate goal of keeping hold of the
better sailors and getting the beginners all to "see the light", allowing
them to contribute vast amounts of money to the industry through the years
on lucrative kit deals. Any donations of equipment, money, loved ones or
sweets would be massively appreciated, and you can be sure that we will
endorse your company or any political/religious beliefs (no matter how
extreme) at all of the national student race meetings that we attend, on our
website and even on the very clothing that we students wear out to church,
family gatherings, gambling dens etc.
We are contactable through our website (www.studentwindsurfing.co.uk) or via
telephonogram (Emily – 07929314052 or Jon – 07919345002), and sincerely hope
we haven’t scared you off with this letter.
Yours faithfully,
THE COMMITTEE OF BRISTOL UNIVERSITY WINDSURF CLUB
