BEN PROFFITTS FROM NEW DEAL

Boardseeker.com rider Ben Proffitt has just returned back from six weeks training
on Maui. Before leaving he secured a new sponsorship deal from Neil Pryde and
JP boards with backing from Dave Buckland at Funsport Rhosneigr.

The new deal came about because Ben was finding it difficult to honour long-time
sponsors Boardwise due to all of his training being done on Dave’s doorstep.
Ben would like to say a big thank you to his friend Ian Gregorelli for the help
and support over the past ten years, and is now looking forward to working with
Dave and his new sponsors in 2002.
