And in the pro fleet Ben Proffitt takes the win ahead of Williams, with Lewis in third and Horrocks in fourth.
After the second round the jumps were taken out of the equation and it was two wave rides only to count, Proffitt secured himself the win in the cross-on over head high conditions at Balephuil with some longer and more vertical turns that the others. Williams was close behind but just couldn’t match Proffitt on the day.
The masters fleet are mid way through their single, and Tris Levie is currently leading the youth competition.
Tomorrow looks a light day again, but everything is set for Friday to bring better conditions and more competition; fingers crossed there will be double eliminations for all the fleets!

First results from Tiree are in!
In the amateurs the shock result was current tour leader Sam Latham being knocked out in second round, it looks like there could well be a double, can Sam come back through?
In 1st position was Scotty McDowell, Jony Price took 2nd, 3rd went to Ian Gibson, with James Savage in 4th.
Over in the ladies fleet an impressive display from Justyna Sniady has secured her the single elimination victory, but she was pushed all the way by the young Megan Gayda, who looks like a name to watch out for! Ping made it in 3rd, with Emma Ray in 4th.
The single elimination is now underway for the pro riders, so far Horrocks, Chambers, Hart, Lewis, Pijoan and Neal have progressed. Shock result of the pros so far is an on form Alfie Hart taking out James Cox!
We will have more for you throughout the day as the pros competition continues, and the masters and youths get underway.

It’s what we’ve all been waiting for, Big Wednesday is set to deliver some massive conditions up in Tiree for the fifth day of the Classic. There’s talk of Balephuil and some big jumps, plus head PWA judge Duncan Coombs has pledged £100 to the first pro to land a DRY double, so that’s sure to push the level even more than before.
Boards will have an update from Tiree for you very, very soon. http://mpora.com/videos/AAdlud3ub5to
