Tom Joined the Puravida Slalom team in 2012 having been groomed by the Weymouth crowd down at the OTC powered by Puravida Boardriders. He has been working hard to keep improving and train through the winter alongside the likes of Kevin Greenslade and speed Merchant Pete Young whatever the weather…..and in spite of some very cold days! Tom has also been helping out at the windsurf centre for OTC/Puravida and joining the Pre-Season training camps soon to be hosted by Ross Williams.
Here is what Tom Had to say about his new kit;
“It’s incredible how much I have improved just by switching my quiver of boards and sails. I’m finding even though now I’m using full on slalom gear apposed to free race gear the ease of use and my gybing have actually improved. My speed has increased dramatically aswell and I can now keep up with the big guys on the BSA pro fleet. Can’t wait to try them out in some flat water conditions where I can get some real speed! It’s also reassuring that the kit I’m using is already tested to be some of the best on the market, although now I have no excuses if someone overtakes me!”
