Norfolk based windsurf Team QSW rider Andy Holland has shaken the world of windsurf speed sailing after achieving the 7th fastest speed in the world in 2013 at West Kirby, Merseyside on Monday 4th February . Thats a massive achievement in its self but his speed of 41.04 knots (47.22mph) at his second event speed sailing!
Andy Holland (44) from Hunstanton, has sailed for 20 years but only rejoined the speed scene in the last 9 months racked up his stunning top speed on his production Fanatic Falcon windsurf board and Severne Reflex race sails.
Neil Greentree, Team QSW team principle said ” Its unbelievable that our local windsurfer from Norfolk is ranked that high in the world at the moment after so little time competing. Who knows where he will rank at the end of the 2013 season. All the other team riders are made up for him and his success”
