Our sources have informed us that sadly, the body of the missing British windsurfer has been found off the coast of Punta Rasca. Our thoughts are with family and friends at this sad time. We can only hope this serves as a reminder of the dangers of the sea.

News is spreading of the disappearance of a 64 year old British windsurfer, who went windsurfing in El Medano, Tenerife on the evening of March 6th.

A full rescue attempt is underway, but so far we have not received any further information. Boards would like to send our best wishes to friends and family at this sad time, and we hope that the rescue mission is more successful today.

Let us all remember what a dangerous sport windsurfing can be.
