Portland Harbour – Weymouth, Dorset

Portland Harbour is the most used training ground for the RYA and offers some glassy, flat windsurfing conditions whatever the wind. A south-west wind blows over the banks of Chesil beach before dropping down on the Ferry Bridge Boat Yard side as a clean offshore winds. You can then windsurf parallel to the beach in perfect flat water.
