About the White Air event
‘Europe’s largest Extreme Sports festival’ brings together the elite to compete in the championships of 14 awesome watersports and landsports. MORE ACCOMMODATION: Character 1882 house incorporating 5 self contained holiday rental apartments. Each one has a kitchen, living/dining room, bathroom and either one or two bedrooms. Located in a great spot, just west of Ventnor on the south coast. Two minutes walk from the beach, and easy access to the main surf spots on the island. Space for up to 17 people and plenty of availability. All the accommodation is to a high standard, and you can be assured of a friendly welcome from fellow enthusiasts of the sport. Equipment storage
A large marquee will be provided FOC by the organiser for slalom competitors to store their boards and rigs. Space can seem limited if care is not taken to maximise the area available – you know what I mean!).This area is secure and will be covered by on site security provided by the organiser.

Parking / Camping
In addition to the options available off site (see Whiteair website) – camping and parking is available at the event site – if you book through UKWA Racing (Ceri). There is a grassed area adjacent to the rigging area / competitor storage tent. This is FOC – and is OK for cars, vans, trailers – but may be less suitable for LARGE camper vans – depending on recent weather conditions! Once parked you must stay put until the close of the event (sunday pm).

Sailing Club
Once again the Yaverland Sailing Club are offering a limited number of parking places for LARGE Camper vans. YSC are not part of the Whiteair organisation – this facility is not free. The charge is £15 per night – you must book a space. YSC passes – if you are not camping within the club , you can still purchase a weekend pass to use their facilities from the race office at registration (cost £3).
