The Next Stage of Windsports Evolution?

Every now and then, a new development in windsports comes along that presents new challenges and oportunities for riders. It’s the riders who take up that challenge by transferring their skills from existing sports and push the limits to help develop exciting new sports.

…is the Wave Warrior 75 from Kitewing the next stage of windsports evolution?

The Finnish designed Kitewings have, until now, been used on land by riders of Dirtsurfers, mountain boards, snowboards, skis and skates. Now, a new version of the hand-held Kitewing has been designed specifically for water use. The Wave Warrior 75 has been in development for three years and comes with a custom directional surf-style board. Being literally a wing, it has been described as like “holding the wind in your hands” and is capable of providing impressive airtime, as well as speed; yet it remains incredibly easy to handle due to complete and instant de-power – and there are no lines to tangle.

The Wave Warrior 75 will appeal to Windsurfers and Kitesurfers keen to be part of the next stage of windsports evolution, as well as power kiters who until now have been land-based.

A lot of people are keen to see how far riders can push the new Wave Warrior 75.
