Sarah Ayton’s Wedding Dress For Auction

OK, not the usual news fare, but there is a strong windsurfing connection – and it’s all for a good cause, so get bidding!

Sarah Ayton, who as one of Britain’s top sailors and Olympic Gold medalist 2004 and 2008 needs no introduction, has donated her beautiful wedding dress to Buy Once Give Twice  (The dress was designed by Ian Stuart, UK bridal designer of the year 2005, 2005, 2006 and 2007, so it’s a top bit of kit.)

It’s a size 10 (that’s important, chaps!), and the dress design is called Patience, which is pretty apt for a wedding dress. Bidding ends: 15 Dec 2008 11:00:00.
