At Pura Vida Boardriders we’ve had some really exciting news this week and heading into 2009 as we develop the equipment testing and demo side of our service….especially for those of you who enjoy trying new toys without having to buy them! (unless you want to ofcourse )

Pura Vida Boardriders has become an ‘official test centre’ for several of windsurfing’s leading brands, where customers can either call in and pick up a board or two for a good session!, or just meet us at the beach where we’ll always have a selection suited to that day. The same applies for sails, that are usually worth having for a while if you don’t get the right wind on the day you grab it….all we ask in return for this is to see your passport, a utility bill and…that you enjoy it!

There will be loads of demo kit at all of our events if you want to join us, including all the latest wave boards at the ‘Winter Wave Series’ events still running in early 2009.

Simmer Style – we’re now one of the uk’s biggest stockists and clearance specialist, we have the Mission-X, Icon, Iron, XD, X-Type and SC Race/Slalom/Speed sails in various sizes available to test and try.

Naish – The Force, Session and Boxer wave sails are all in for review, as well as the Pro Wave, Global Wave and All Terrain boards, not to mention the SP60 production speed board.

North – Examples across the entire range of Wave, Freestyle, Freeride and Speed sails are all available in many sizes.

Fanatic – A huge range of boards across the entire range from Wave to freeride and slalom, including the super fast Falcon Speed 68, all available to try out …. even the new twin fin 78.

Mistral – Examples across the range including Wave, Freestyle and Freeride….including the new Twin Fin 84.

Witchcraft – As the uk’s main importer we have 77 in stock (demo and for sale), awaiting 80, 89 and a new freewave design 102 is being developed for January/February.

Quattro – Some 2008 boards still available, and the well reviewed ’09 Twin fin 81 Wave board is due in the new Year.

Angulo – The entire range of Chango Wave boards, and Super Gu 92 are always there to try.

Running such a service we have also become the specialist clearance and ex-demo centre for the same brands and if you are not looking to buy new our demo boards are often available to sell (or reserve in advance)
