OTC REOPENING 21ST JANUARY
It has been quite a difficult and uncertain few months for the directors of The Official Test Centre (OTC), but last week ended with the news that after nearly two months of being closed, they were allowed to open their doors for business once again. The date has been set as this coming Wednesday, the 21st January, and normal service will resume from then.
There have been countless rumours and suggestions circulated both locally in Tenerife and within the windsurfing community as to the circumstances surrounding the closure, and it is tempting to set the record straight here, but in reality the details are immaterial for most. The most important thing is that The OTC is back and is in a much stronger position to ensure the issues don’t occur again.
The OTC is a unique windsurfing centre, being the only one in the world to stock all the major brands and allow their clients to directly compare equipment for themselves. Based in El Médano, Tenerife, there are flights to the island everyday, and the transfer from the airport is only ten minutes, meaning you can be on the water in no time. It is the perfect destination for a bit of winter sun and wind.
