Since smashing the Production World Speed Record clocking up a colossal 44.03 knots, The Mighty Whitey has been busy planning for his new record attempt coming up in France next month. To aid his much-anticipated success Dave has decided join Fabien Vollenweider at Tabou. Pumped up by the move, Dave is really looking forward to supporting this fresh and exciting brand being quoted as saying “I’m hoping to break more records than bones with the help of my new sponsor this year!” Dave’s record attempt schedule sees him touring the globe stopping in France, the Canaries, Taiwan and Namibia all in 2005.
Started in 1990, Tabou has become famous for their creative graphics inspired by the latest music trends in southern Europe and known for their ability to develop boards suitable for anyone, beginner to world record holders! Working closely with Fabien Vollenweider, owner and shaper for Tabou, the duo are busy developing Whitey’s signature production speed board; so catch him if you can, The Manta 49 will be available in shops soon.
