JOIN THE NORTH SAILS TEAM
We are happy to welcome 15-year-old Alice Arutkin FRA-111, Guy Cribb K-9 and Danilo “Chicobento” Menezes Da Silva BRA-83 to our team. Being the only girl in North Sails Grom Team, is definetely a hard job for Alice, mainly on the beach. Alice has endless energy and is very commited to become the best female windsurfer in the world ! Her family lives in Wissant in the north of France and one of the best spots in France. She is a born competitor and performs already at a very high level in all the disciplines from wave to slalom and formula, even in the Olympic board discipline. Her goal for the season 2008 is to learn the push-loop, to make progress in waveriding, and to improve her skills in slalom.
Guy needs no introduction to us Brits, but to anyone from overseas who may not have heard about him, he’s one of the leading windsurf gurus in the UK and an ex-PWA world cup pro. Since quitting the pro race circuit he’s been running his renowned INtuition clinics, and has a lot of knowledge of the end-consumer needs and will be a strong asset and a good ambassador for North Sails.
“Chicobento” is not only a hot newcomer to the international freestyle circus but also shows great performance on land with his Brazilian dance “Capoeira”. Chicobento will compete at the PWA and EFPT Freestyle tour and give several Capoeira gala performances during the events.
