June 12th 2007: Now it’s time to bury the flabby contest flags and to reanimate the neglected wave riding!!!
The Red Bull Big Days will place another milestone in the windsurfing world – a standby wave contest at the German coastline!
24 windsurfers will get a chance for a serious battle in premium conditions this autumn. From Sept. 1st each weekend the action could go off at North or Baltic Sea. Only fairy godmother will know the exact spot and day.

The autumn storms at the German coastlines can predict premium conditions for a wave contest.
The Red Bull Big Days contest will get started when the conditions are perfect which can happen each weekend this autumn. Being on stand by the riders have the chance to participate in a serious national battle and may the best German wave rider win!
The results of the Red Bull Big Days will count as an official result of the DWC series.

Within the next four weeks the decision of who will participate will be made. Each participant – pro and/or amateur – has to be registered first on www.redbull.de/bigdays.
24 tickets are available. 12 will be set and announced by an expert jury (international special interest press, industry and riders by the end of july. The other 12 will be fighting for a ticket in a super session the same day before the event starts.
Stand by period will be from Sept. 1st until end of November. Each weekend the alert for the event could go off!!! The spot at North- or Baltic Sea will be chosen spontaneously!
