As we go through the tack the separation between each stage gets less and less with the midpoint blurring into the exit. Here our focus is on getting power back on and getting back up to speed to try and make it look like we planed all the way round.
• Look out the turn and away from the rig
• Let the front hand slide back to the harness lines
• Get the back foot back as the rig goes forward to release the nose
• Sink low, sheet in and push through the toes to get going.
*Top Tip – Focus on getting the front hand back, this will help get the board back on the plane and you sheet in but also if you’ve gone round a little early.
