Flying Objects invasion 2003

If you have ever visited Western Australia then you will more than likely have
heard of Flying Objects and seen it’s logo adorning the fins and accessories
of the local sailors.

Flying Objects is Australia’s home grown brand of fins, harnesses, board bags
and accessories for windsurfing and kite surfing and was started by Ben Severne
in the early 90s. Ben is one of the most sought after sail and kite designers
in the world and still heads the Flying Objects product design while maintaining
his own brand of Severne Sails and working for Starboard and Airush.

The growth of the Flying Objects brand has been strong for the last few years
and since Flying Objects sponsored young rippers Luke Walmsley and Ty Bodycoat
left the shores of W.A last year to join the World Tour Flying Objects has also
spread its wings to leave Australia and invade the shores of the UK with fins
and accessories thoroughly tested in the demanding conditions of Australia,
Hawaii and now on the World Tour.

With a team of hardcore wavesailors, kitesurfers and racers in Australia and
around the world Flying Objects ensure thoroughly tested tough, quality products
not forgetting that aesthetics are also considered carefully so that all Flying
Objects Products look awesome to!

Windsurf and Kite Board designer Colin McCulloch and UKWA and PWA wave sailor

products for the last 6 years, there and back home and have now teamed up to
bring Flying Objects to the UK.
