Youth and Masters, Weymouth and Portland Sailing Academy, 25th – 26th September

The Youth and Masters Championships is the pinnacle of the Youth Windsurfing calendar and once again, we are expecting the number of competitors attending to increase due to the continued success of team15. The unique mix of both top-level National squad sailors and those taking there first steps in a National event help to create a real festival atmosphere.

The Youth and Masters Championships is a family orientated event with parents racing alongside children. It is also the prefect opportunity to meet other windsurfers of all ages. The event takes will be held at Weymouth and Portland Sailing Academy on 25th and 26th of September with racing on both Saturday and Sunday. As well as the racing, Saturday night provides the prefect opportunity for you to let your hair down and enjoy yourself with evening entertainment and a buffet meal.

The Rob Cartwright Memorial Trophy will once again be awarded at this year’s event to the windsurfer chosen by the Cartwright family for their enthusiasm and determination in windsurfing.

If you are interested in entering the Youth and Masters you will need to pre-register by using the entry forms found in Boards, Windsurfing and on the RYA and UKWA websites. Once you have completed the form, you will need to return it to Christine Burdett-Clark at RYA windsurfing department with the payment enclosed and we will then send you all you need for the event, including a list of B&B’s.
