UKWA YOUTHS AND JUNIORS FREESTYLE TRAINING CAMP, CHRISTCHURCH. AUGUST 28TH – 30TH 2004.

Christchurch Boardsailing Club, Steamer Point, Seaway Avenue, Christchurch, Dorset.

Cost for the 3 day weekend per Junior (under 17 at 31st December 2004) or Youth (under 20 at 31st December 2004). £50.00 per head.
This will include all instruction by fully experienced instructors. (At the moment Jem Hall, Jim Collis and Ian Hunter are confirmed and Mark Hosegood should be available subject to competition commitments).
Over the weekend there will also be sessions on specific moves with some of the UK”s top freewave sailors who will be attending the UKWA Freewave Series Event running at the same time.
Also included will be free use of the latest kit from most of the leading brands. Matt Wemms will be there for the whole weekend with Mistral, North, Fanatic and Sailworks kit. Most of the other importers will be there for at least part of the time for you to try and compare their kit.
Camping on site will be £3.00 per van/tent per night, use of the showers and all the facilities at the clubhouse are included.
There will be a barbecue on site on Saturday evening, this is inclusive for entrants, extra tickets are £5.00 and will include a free drink.
A junior/youth freestyle competition will be held at some time over the weekend, there will be some excellent product prizes provided by Mark Agg Jones of Spot on Water, the local windsurfing and watersports shop.
The winners will also get a free entry into the UKWA National Freestyle Championships at Poole.
Obviously bring short boards but if you have them bring long/wide boards as well as if there is light wind we will still be doing stuff.
One of the UKWA boats will be on hand throughout the weekend to provide rescue cover.
Registration will be on Sat 28/8/04 from 9.00 – 10.00 at the clubhouse.
