AHD (UK) Ltd is proud to annouce the signing of Chris Murray to their team
of Pro Riders.

Chris aged 16 of Fareham, Hampshire is one this country’s rising stars in
the Youth Fleet.

“We are pleased to welcome Chris on to the team”, commented Richard
Marsh of AHD, and added, “We have been keen to develop a sponsorship
program that strengthens our core Pro Riders for some time now, Chris’s
approach to his sailing and to the sport is refreshing to see and watch.
We look forward to forming a long standing and pro-active partnership that
will see Chris develop his windsurfing career from Youth to Pro Fleet and
from National to International competitions.”

Chris, who when not competing can be seen regularly sailing at Hillhead,
said, “I was made up when AHD approached me to become one of their Pro
Riders. The brand is great and I can’t wait to start sailing them in
competition and taking my personal sailing ability to the next level. Who
knows I might soon be hot on the heels of Kauli!”

Chris, whose main focus is waves and freestyle has recently returned from
competing in the final round of the UKWA Triple Crown Series held on the
Scottish isle of Tiree. In a great competition Chris finished 3rd, this
was enough to secure him 2nd place overall in the ranking for the Youth
Wave Section of the Triple Crown.
