Speed Challenge winner Nick Scott

F2 SPEED CHALLENGE 2005

30mph in 30 minutes

The second round of the F2 SPEED CHALLENGE 2005 took place at West Kirby on May 22nd with help from  Kangaroo Poo and the Wirral Sailing Centre.

The sun was glorious and a strong wind made its appearance soon after lunch so that most competitors were able to achieve a couple of good timed runs before the wind disappeared for the day.

Nick Scott was fastest recording 32mph, or nearly 28 knots and this was great sailing in the conditions.

50 other competitors took part in the CHALLENGE, which is proving more and more popular with each round.

Join in at Chase Water for Round Three on June 12th when Boardwise will be helping with the organisation.
