WEYMOUTH HARBOUR DASH

Starting from Overcombe Corner, Weymouth, this annual windsurfing event will
be held this year on 28 August 05. 

With a Le Mans style start, the event simply requires the entrants to sail 6Nm from the beach, in and out of the entrances of Portland Harbour and back again.

Sounds easy BUT the 18m 35s record set by Adrian Bugler over 10 years ago remains unbroken! 

Last year was close and it has been rumoured unofficially that one of Britian’s top
racers has recently been round in less time!

All competent windsurfers are invited. Registration from 10:30.

This year Nick Dempsey is hoping to partake using his new Olympic raceboard.
