PWA Almanarre World Cup Cancelled        
 
The PWA has just been informed by the Hyeres Windsurfing Organisation, that the 2005 Almanarre Hyeres PWA World Cup, scheduled to take place in October, has been cancelled due to a lack of funding. HWO (the event organisers) had hoped to secure additional funding from local support but unfortunately sufficient investment was not forthcoming.
 
Both the PWA and HWO will be continuing to work on the event and hope to have the event back on the calendar for 2006.
 
Meanwhile, the Nivea World Cup Sylt will begin on Saturday 24th September and will now decide the PWA Racing title as well as the PWA Wave title for 2005.
