HAYLING SAILORS ROBBED

HAYLING SAILORS ROBBED

Hayling Island locals Ian Turner and kiter Chris Bull had their vans broken
into on monday 24th Oct while the vans were left on their driveways at
seperate properties on Hayling.

Ian had £4,000 worth of kit taken and Chris had £6-8,000 worth, all of which
was Naish kit, plus tools and clothes although alot of tools were left, which
suggests they might have some knowledge of the sport or an outlet in which
to sell it as tools would be alot easier to sell than windsurfing and kiting kit.

More annoying than anything is the loss of my Ian’s edge knee brace which he
can’t do any sport without since blowing his medial lateral knee ligament
windsurfing 2.5 years ago. He’s sponsored by Shore Boards who can lend him kit,
but without the brace he’s beached!

4.5m Naish session 04 yel/red, has large knee dent in window area.
