Dates for the Divas

Club Vass have just announced the dates for their increasingly popular program of dedicated women’s windsurfing clinics, Club Vass Divas:

12 February ’06: Club Dahab Divas

11 June ’06: Club Vassiliki Divas

3 September ’06: Club Vassiliki Divas

For those who don’t know, this program has been designed specially for girls at all levels, by some of the top girl instructors around. The team is led by Jo Scott, Club Vass’s star coach (one of only a few girls qualified to level 5) and includes special guest instructors. Amy Carter, fastest woman at Weymouth Speed Week 2005 and 8th in the PWA World Tour last year, will be assisting at the February Divas’ week.

The success of these events seems to stem from the great atmosphere generated with lots of ‘sista-ly’ support ensuring that everyone makes excellent progress and has plenty of fun. The packages also represent great value, with extra dedicated tuition time, unlimited use of a huge range of cutting-edge, girl-friendly kit and some fabulous perks included in the price. For the Dahab clinic, ‘extra-curricular’ activities will include yoga, camel trips, star-lit Bedouin meals, snorkeling and even Egyptian belly dancing! PADI diving packages and optional wakeboarding and waterskiing are available for unstoppable action girls!

Courses run as normal for the guys, so partners (and would-be partners) are welcome too! Crèche facilities are also available to look after any little ones, but places are limited so pre-booking is required.
