NeilPryde is proud to announce the release of the 3Z website. A website dedicated to the Zone sail and the story of three of the best wavesailors in the world.
Visitors to the site can enter the draw to win a Zone or an exclusive 3Z t-shirt.
3Z – Three Generations. One Weapon of Choice
Jason Polakow joined TeamPryde in 1997, as the newly crowned PWA World Wave Champion. With his restless energy and abundant talent Jason was an immediate inspiration to the NeilPryde Design Team and 1998 saw the introduction of the Zone, Jasons own signature wavesail, designed to suit his distinctive surf-inspired, down-the-line riding style. The Zone immediately became a best-seller and Jason went on to win a second world title, further establishing himself as a windsurfing legend.
Fast-forward to 2006 and two further generations of Zone sailors have used Jason as inspiration and have forged their own reputations as two of the most exciting wavesailors on Mauis North Shore. Levi Siver and Alex Mussolini have now teamed up with Jason Polakow to form the 3Zs. Three sailors who share a love of riding big, fast waves and a taste for adventure. This is the 3Zs. And this is where well be telling you the rest of their story as it unfolds.
