FANATIC ALLWAVE
From the creator of the legendary Fly, Rip, Goya and NewWave/FreeWave, comes the latest wave toy from Fanatic shaper, Sebastian Wenzel – the AllWave. The name says it all – boards with an extremely wide range of use, designed for all normal wave conditions worldwide and riders of all sizes and levels! Today’s reality is simply that 90% of our sailing time is not in perfect side-off conditions. With the AllWaves you can enjoy a world class session even in average conditions at your own local spot!
Fitting perfectly between the radical NewWaves and accessible FreeWaves, the new AllWaves complete the Fanatic wave range, with just 2 sizes: the AllWave 75 and 85.
Combining the best features from our NewWave and FreeWave boards, the AllWaves plane super early, but are even more impressive on the wave with razor sharp turning abilities. Sebastian´s vast CAD database of wave shapes is the key to combining all these elements into 2 extremely sophisticated shapes: The new developed AllWave scoop rocker line and bottom shape work in perfect harmony with the compact and smooth outlines. The rounded square tails keeps the speed and drive, no matter how slow the wave is. For max stability the volume is equally distributed over the length, width and the rails of the boards. The rails are slighly fuller, but very smooth and they never catch. The small boxy rail in the tail gives excellent projection on short and sharp turns. Width is a crucial issue in windsurfboard design. Sebastian found the perfect mix of increased width for early planing and drive, without any loss in control or manoeuvrebility on the wave – the AllWave 75 is 56,5cm wide and the AllWave 85 being 59cm wide. Fanatic is THE proven brand in waveboard design – try an AllWave and see why…..
Sebastian with some features on the new AllWaves:
– The AllWave 75 has a very innovative bottom shape – a flat nose
section into a mono concave mid section, flowing into a double
concave V in the tail. This bottom design provides power and early
planing in the mid section, whilst the double concave tail allows for a bit
more tail rocker, making tight, slashing turns effortless. Another effect of
this design is the general power of the bottom shape, which gives a lot
of projection and good power to go upwind, especially useful in onshore
conditions.
– The AllWave 85 has a focus on early planing performance and being able
to make waveriding look like surfing, especially for heavier sailors, the
ultimate combination. The 85 features a clean V power bottom design, with
a smooth release in the tail. The rocker is adjusted to that design and has a
little less tail kick.
Glass Double Sandwich Technology:
Using a lightweight yet robust glass fibre construction, gives a very high
strength to weight ration. In combination with the double sandwich pvc, this is
an extremely durable layup, the thick sandwich and glass fibre absorbing high
forces after even the hardest landings! Perfect for everyday wave use in the
AllWave range.
