Liam Round, aged 14, of landlocked Dudley, West Midlands, was on the podium taking 1st under 15 in the Junior Formula Championships at Westende, Belgium, on 23-30 July.
Racing on an Exocet Turbo Formula and Gaastra Vapour, Liam never had to change down from his 10m due to the light wind conditions during the event.
