ANOTHER ‘SPORTS PERSONALITY of the YEAR’ NOMINATION FOR KEITH ATKINSON
The KENT & SUSSEX Courier Group of newspapers has announced the launch of the 2006/7 Courier Sports Awards. Designed to recognise local achievements and those individuals and teams who have contributed most to the fabric of sporting life in the area.
Keith Atkinson has been nominated and short listed to battle it out for the papers premier title of:
‘Sports Personality of the Year’
Readers will be allowed to submit their votes on who they think is most deserving of the award before the outcome is announced on February 9. The winners will then be invited to collect their awards at a special lunch hosted by Hotel Du Vin in Tunbridge Wells on February 16, 2007.
Voting opened on 12th January so if you are able to pick up a copy of one of the Courier newspapers please support our sport’s own Keith Atkinson by voting now, entry forms are in the next three issues, voting closes on 2nd February.
