“Dear friends,

It is with great regret that I am placed in the unfortunate position to inform you of the passing of one of our closest friends and colleagues.

On the evening of Easter Sunday, 8 April 2007, our beloved Per Andersson passed away.

His dedication and significant contribution to the development of Starboard, Severne Sails and windsurfing throughout his life will be dearly missed.

We extend our condolences to his family, girlfriend and all of the people whose lives he has touched, both on and off the water.

There will be a memorial service in Bangkok at 3pm on Wednesday afternoon, with the official funeral later in Sweden.

Two memorial books will be made available for all to share their final words. This will accompany Per on his journey to Sweden and be presented to his parents.

For those unable to attend the service, please feel free to post or email any messages that you may have and we will be sure to pass these on to Per’s parents.
