UKWA YOUTH & JUNIOR FREEWAVE TRAINING CAMP

The UKWA’s famous Youth and Junior Freewave Training Camp in association with the Andy Funnell Foundation and supported by Lagoon Watersports is confirmed as on over the weekend of 28/29 July at a terrific new venue, “Hove Lagoon”.

Martin (Gopher) Francis will again be the lead instructor and there will be a great line up of courses in freestyle and wave sailing skills guaranteed to improve your competition and freesailing, as well as hints and tips on equipment, kit set up, sponsorship, fitness, competition rules and heat management.

There will also be guest appearances by some of the top British Pro Freewave sailors, as well as huge lineup of demo kit from the UK’s leading importers for the exclusive use of participants, a UKWA photographer to provide you with shots and fun competitions for all age groups with great prizes.

The minimum ability requirement for all participants in the Freewave Training Camp is waterstarting and sailing in the harness and footstraps.

Membership of the UKWA or RYA is a requirement for insurance purposes.
The entry fee includes one ticket for the Saturday night barbecue with a free drink.
One campervan, caravan or tent on site will be allowed on site free of charge.
