UKWA ANNOUNCE YOUTH & JUNIOR FREEWAVE TRAINING CAMP DATE CHANGE

“Due to circumstances beyond our control it is now not possible to run the UKWA YOUTH & JUNIOR FREEWAVE TRAINING CAMP over the weekend of 28/29 July. The revised dates are now 22/23 September, this is the next weekend that top level instructors are available and that has low midday tides which are preferable at Hove.

“Martin (Gopher) Francis will still be the lead instructor with help from several of the top British Pro Freewave sailors and by then 2008 Demo Kit will be available for the camp participants exclusive use. Also at that time of year we are far more likely to get good wind and waves.

“If you have a younger brother or sister who doesn’t quite reach the minimum standard for the Training Camp Lagoon Watersports will be running courses for them on the safety of the lagoon and they can still join in with the off water activities of the Camp.

“If you have already booked we will contact you to confirm the date change, if you haven’t booked yet get your form off soon as places will be limited. Ask for details of the Lagoon Watersports courses as they will have to be pre booked.”
