2002 Canadian Windsurfing Championships

Windsurfing Canada announces that the 2002 Canadian Windsurfing Championships
will be held at the beautiful city of Kingston, Ontario from July 1 to July
6.

World-class CORK will be managing racing (Formula, and Slalom) from July 2
to 6, with Freestyle scheduled for Canada Day July 1st, and registration and
practise racing on Sunday June 30 as well being organized by WC in conjunction
with the Kingston Boardsailing Association.

The top Canadian Man and Woman will be awarded the two major WC trophies on
overall performance in Freestyle as well as in Formula and Slalom, but international
competitors are invited to vie for discipline trophies in the Gold (Pro) fleet.
All are welcomed to compete as well in the Silver Amateur and Bronze Novice
fleets, which will add Raceboard competition in
determining their overall Champions in the best 3 of 4 disciplines.

Great conditions are expected during the week, with a wide range of economical
