BALLZ ACTION SPORTSMART SDN BHD (BALLZ), Malaysia, invites you to the final
Formula Windsurfing regatta of the Malaysian Race Series 2001.
Venue
Racing will take place at Desaru. During January the weather conditions are
influenced by the North East Monsoon blowing with 12 to 25 knots. Water temp
24ºC; Average air temp 26-30ºC.
Schedule
January 9, 2002 (Registration) 10:00 – 18:00 hrs open for registration
January 10 -12, 2002 (Racing) 10:00 hrs first possible start
January 12 Prices and Closing ceremony
Prices
There will be prize money and product prizes to be awarded to the Top 3 position
for the Malaysian Open 2001 and the Malaysian Race series 2001.
The Winner of the overall Malaysian Race series 2001 is eligible and will be
sponsored to represent Malaysia at the Formula Windsurfing Asian Pacific Championship
2002, Hua Hin, Thailand on the 22-29th March 2002.
Event Entry Fee is RM 200.00 (USD 53.00) per competitor. This includes Competitor’s
Kit (Event lycra, Sponsored goodies, Sailing instruction + prize giving, Closing
dinner)
