WEST WITTERING WEEKLY FUN SLALOM CLUB

Slalom racing is currently undergoing a massive revival both on the PWA World tour and domestically in the UK. Bearing this in mind, 2XS are busy organizing a new fun-slalom racing series in West Wittering to begin on Wednesday 10th September at 5pm.
 
The emphasis for the new series is very much on promoting a fun and relaxed atmosphere, racing on the gear that you have rather than specialized and expensive racing gear. (If it planes, then it’s good enough)
 
You don’t need to be a 2XS club member or have any previous racing experience. Non-club members will need to pay £5 to cover the use of the hot showers, club house and safety cover. There are no complicated racing rules and first prize is a pint down the pub afterwards.
 
This format has already proven extremely successful in Poole with over 70 fun-slalom club members and over 20 regularly racing in their Thursday evening events.
 
The plan for the West Wittering events is to race on Wednesday evenings, starting from 5pm with the call being made via email by lunch time on the day.
