The Irish Windsurfing Association Wavesailing Final is held in UISCE,
The Wavesailing Final runs over 3 days, 25/10/08 – 27/10/08. Crowds flock to witness this adventure sport at its best.
The Competition

Fun Slalom Races & Clinics
For those of you who aren’t interested in competing on the waves we have organised a few different options. In response to the amazing appeal and success of the Slalom Series this year there will be 2 days of Fun Slalom Races organised by Maurice Owens, Danny Mulryan and Fintan Day, with prizes for the different events, including a fancy dress race and a pre millennium race (weather permitting). We will also be offering different clinics over the weekend. Demo Gear
We are currently finalising the details regarding demo gear. Hopefully we’ll have some great 2009 gear for you to try out over the weekend.
Party
Seeing as it’s the Bank Holiday and Halloween, UISCE throws a Halloween Fancy Dress Bash in Béal an Mhuirthead town. Over the weekend there will be different entertainment organised working around the competition time table and of course the weather. It’s always a great night so get started on your costume now. Prizes on the night.
Accommodation
UISCE adventure centre accommodates approx 80 people for the event every year. The rooms are 4-bed en-suite dorms finished to Fáilte Ireland Standards. For groups of 5 we can make arrangements. For more information contact Edel on +353 97 82111 or [email protected]
