WINDSURFING & KITESURFING DEMO WEEKEND @ WEST WITTERING
May 11-12 2002

For the fifth year running Britain’s most successful windsurfing
demonstration weekend will be held at West Wittering beach. There will be
over £100,000 of new windsurfing kit to test.

Over the two-day event, all the major manufacturers will be displaying their

products and allowing members of the public to try windsurfing equipment free

of charge – everything from a beginner’s board to the latest wave board .
There will be professional displays of kitesurfing from Jason Furness, Ben
Hanbury, the RRD Team and Chris Martin from Cabrinha. Land-based kite flying

sessions will be held over the two days for people to try their hand at this

new exciting sport. The Royal Yachting Association will be on hand to give
advice to anyone who would like to know more about the sport of windsurfing.

New for 2002 will be a booking system for testing equipment – anyone
interested in trying equipment needs to pre-book either by email, fax or

sure that you get the chance to try the boards/sails of your choice.

On the beach the equipment will be available for testing from 10.00am through

to 5.00pm on both days. Brands available are F2, Mistral, Fanatic, AHD, RRD,
JP,
Maui Project, Quatro, Starboard, Neil Pryde, North Sails, Ezzy, Arrows,
Sailworks, Tushingham, Gaastra. Kite equipment from: Wipika, Cabrinha,
RRD, Slingshot, Flexifoil, North and Fanatic.

On the Saturday night there will be a party – tickets are available from 2XS.
